Growing up on Eastern Long Island with regular visits to NYC’s West Village and Fire Island, Marissa had an eclectic upbringing exposing her to a plethora of environments from urban to beach and all that lies between. At a young age Marissa’s travels to Europe opened her eyes to world culture and to new colors and textures, inspiring in her a budding passion for design. Her work as a young fashion model further heightened her affinity for style, and with the catalyst of family and cultural inspirations, Marissa was fully immersed in the design world. She designs from a place of feeling and emotion inspired by past experiences.
Marissa is currently renovating, designing, and blogging, sharing her step-by-step process and expanding her knowledge transparently with all. In her designs, she combines her passion chinoiserie decor style with color, texture and fine art, exploring a worldly design with a modern twist on home decor.
